I love giving gifts. And when I find just the right gift for someone, I go ahead and buy it. Want to know why? Because not only did I find the best gift for someone, but I also am prepared for when that special person’s day comes and I need a gift to give. Not only am I buying them something they want, but I might even be able to save some money in the process.
Saving money while giving gifts, who doesn’t want to do that! Sometimes we can be on vacation to the beach, see something and instantly think of someone that would absolutely love said item. Some might think, “Man I wish it were their birthday or Christmas, I would buy it for them.” Well, why wait? Buy it and save it. You will wished you had come that special occasion.
Reasons to buy and save
- helps save you money
- you won’t be wondering come Christmas what to buy
- You are already ahead for your shopping
Items needed to create a gift box
- plastic tote or box
- paper and pen
- label for the outside of the tote (chalkboard or white)
- a place to store the tote (out of reach of your children)
Are you wondering how you can go about doing this?
The paper and pen are important because I have been known to stand over my box asking myself who I bought a certain item for. Plus, once I put it in the box it stays there until I need to retrieve it and give it as a gift. No losing it and freaking out at the last minute.
Once you have your gift box ready to go, another great thing that will keep you organized in the gift giving department would be a great area filled will everything you need to wrap the perfect gift you bought for that special person.
